Registration for the 21st National Conference on Family Literacy is now open! If you can only attend one conference this year and you serve the literacy needs of families — adults and children — this one is a must.

Pay with a purchase order or check

Registrations by purchase order must include both the registration form and a signed purchase order to ensure confirmation of registration. Both may be faxed to 502-212-4840.

When paying by check, please download and mail the registration form with your payment. Registration will not be complete without the signed purchase order or the check.

Purchase order registrations must be received by January 20, 2012, with payment received by February 17, 2012, in order to qualify for the early bird registration discount for the Basic Conference Registration Fee and the Preconference Training Sessions. After these dates, regular registration rates will apply.

Before February 17, 2012, the early bird registration fee is $445. After the early bird deadline passes, the regular registration rate will be $510.

Hotel information

The 2012 National Conference on Family Literacy will be held at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina. The hotel is located at the edge of the San Diego Bay offering spectacular views of not only the bay, but also of the marina and the city skyline.

From the hotel, it is just 10 minutes to some of San Diego’s most popular attractions. Enjoy dining and music in San Diego’s Gaslight Quarter; get a sense of California’s rich history from Old Town’s historic sites, shops and restaurants; or from Balboa Park, the site of Panama-California Exposition of 1915. The San Diego Zoo and Sea World Park are other noted attractions.

The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service from San Diego International Airport.
